KABUL: The naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted several U.S. military facilities in the region in response to recent American attacks, media reported.
In a statement, the IRGC said that, under the agreement reached between Tehran and Washington, Iran has the authority to control maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC also warned the United States that if it launches further attacks against Iran, Tehran’s response will be even broader and more severe.
