KABUL: The Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem said in its latest report that the Israeli military has martyred more than 21,000 Palestinian children in Gaza since October 2023.
According to the report, during the same period, at least 235 children and teenagers were also martyred in Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank only.
B’Tselem stated that no Israeli soldier has been prosecuted in connection with these incidents so far, arguing that the lack of accountability has contributed to the continued and increasing deaths of innocent civilians.
The organization called for greater accountability and emphasized the need to protect civilians, particularly children, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
