KABUL: The provincial officials of the Kandahar Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock said that during the 1447 Hijri lunar year, a total of 182,381 metric tons of fresh and dried fruits, valued at $428.863 million, were exported from the province to various countries around the world.
According to the officials, Kandahar’s fruits were exported to India, Qatar, Russia, China, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Canada, Türkiye, Iraq, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Germany, and several other countries.
They emphasized that the increase in domestic fruit exports plays an important role in boosting the local economy and supporting farmers.
