KABUL: The White House has announced the opening of the first Freedom Fuel gas station in the Philadelphia area, where gasoline is being sold at $3.47 per gallon, below the current market average.
The Trump administration said the initiative aims to lower fuel prices and ease the financial burden of everyday transportation costs for Americans.
According to CBS News, the Freedom Fuel network initially includes around 25 gas stations, with plans to expand further in the future.
This comes as the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel continues to affect global markets, while concerns over a possible closure of the Strait of Hormuz have contributed to rising fuel prices worldwide.
