KABUL: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi says Tehran has remained committed to its obligations under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, but the United States has violated its commitments by breaching Article 9 of the agreement.
In a post on X on Saturday, Araghchi stated that Iran has honored its commitments so far, adding that the only viable path forward is for both sides to adhere to their commitments within the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
He further argued that the alleged violation was part of a broader pattern of U.S. violations of its commitments and other actions that Iran considers inconsistent with the agreement.
Araghchi further said that the facts are clear and that mutual compliance by both parties remains the only solution.
