KABUL: Sayed Karim Hashemi, President of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), has departed for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, leading a delegation of around 100 Afghan businesspeople and investors on a three-day official visit.
According to the chamber, the Afghan delegation is scheduled to meet with the governor and local officials of Syrdarya Province, as well as participate in joint meetings with Uzbek business leaders and investors to discuss expanding bilateral trade and exploring joint investment opportunities.
The delegation’s agenda also includes visits to manufacturing facilities in Syrdarya Province, aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and assessing new investment prospects between the two countries.
