HERAT: The Herat provincial officials said that Afghanistan’s first export shipment of mineral products, valued at $100,000, has been exported from Herat to the United States.
According to the Herat Governor’s Media Office, the shipment consists of black mineral stones extracted from a mine in Zenda Jan District and exported to the U.S. market through the Herat Chamber of Industries.
Provincial officials described the shipment as an important step toward expanding Afghanistan’s mineral exports and strengthening the country’s presence in international markets.
