KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 33%, the lowest level recorded during his current presidency, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
The four-day survey, which concluded on Monday, found that 33% of respondents approved Trump’s performance 64% of respondents disapproved his performance, while 3% had no clear opinion.
The latest figure also matches the lowest approval rating recorded during Trump’s first presidency, in December 2017.
The decline comes amid growing public concern over the continuation of the U.S.-Iran war. Reuters reported that about 80% of Americans believe the conflict could continue for a long time, while only about 20% consider the war worth its costs.
