KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump says Iran could reach an agreement with the United States, but Tehran would not accept the kind of deal Washington considers necessary.
Trump stressed that the main U.S. objective is to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. “Iran should not have a nuclear weapon, and it will not have one,” he said.
Referring to previous U.S. B-2 bomber strikes, Trump said that if Iran attempts to rebuild a nuclear weapons program, it would, in his view, take Tehran a long time to achieve that goal.
