KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin says Russian forces have accelerated their advance along the front lines in Ukraine and are confidently pursuing the objectives of what Moscow calls its “special military operation.”
Putin said actions by Ukrainian forces have not significantly affected the situation on the battlefield and that the advance of Russian troops is continuing.
“The enemy’s actions have had no impact on the situation on the front lines,” Putin said.
His remarks come as the Russia-Ukraine war continues, with Moscow and Kyiv providing differing accounts of battlefield developments and the extent of each side’s territorial gains.
