KABUL: The Indian Coast Guard says a vessel traveling from India’s Paradip Port toward Singapore has sunk off the country’s eastern coast.
According to officials, the vessel was carrying 20 Chinese nationals, three Myanmar nationals and one Bangladeshi national.
Indian Coast Guard commander Amit Uniyal said contact with the vessel was lost after it sank, and two rescue boats have been dispatched to the area to search for the remaining crew members.
