KABUL: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned an attack by several drones launched from Iraqi territory against the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions.
The ministry said several people were injured in the attack and that the pipeline was also damaged.
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry added that repair work on the pipeline is underway.
The East-West pipeline is one of Saudi Arabia’s major oil transportation facilities, connecting the country’s oil fields in the east with its western regions.
