KABUL: A number of Afghan students in Pakistan have raised concerns with officials at the Afghan Consulate in the country following the announcement of a new deadline for the expulsion of Afghan migrants.
The Afghan Consulate said Mawlavi Sayed Abdul Jabbar Takhari, Afghanistan’s consul general, assured the students during a meeting that the consulate would provide all necessary legal assistance to help address their problems.
Takhari added that the consulate would work closely with the students to find appropriate solutions to the challenges they face.
The meeting comes as Pakistan has recently set new deadlines for the expulsion of Afghan migrants, raising concerns among Afghan students living in the country about continuing their education and their future.
