KABUL: Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, has expressed condolences to the government of the United Arab Emirates and the family of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum following his death.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was the brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and vice president and prime minister of the UAE.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum died on Monday at the age of 76.
According to Arab media reports, Dubai has declared 10 days of official mourning following his death.
