KABUL: The Ethiopian government has accused Eritrea, Sudan and Egypt of supporting armed opposition groups as fighting has intensified again in northern parts of the country.
The allegations come amid renewed clashes in northern Ethiopia, raising concerns that the conflict could take on a broader regional dimension.
Reports indicate that continued fighting could draw additional countries into the conflict and further widen the scope of Ethiopia’s ongoing instability, potentially increasing tensions across the Horn of Africa.
