KAB: Iranian media have reported that preparations to resume commercial rail services between Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey have been completed, with operations expected to begin soon.
According to the reports, a commercial train will travel once a week from Herat to Khaf in Iran before continuing through Iranian territory to Turkey.
The train’s final destination will be the Turkish port city of Mersin.
