KABUL: The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council says Tehran will not be ready to hold talks with Washington until the United States takes practical steps to build confidence.
During a meeting with Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Asim Munir, the Iranian official also stressed that not even a single particle of Iran’s enriched nuclear material would be transferred outside the country.
The remarks come as Pakistan is seeking to facilitate the resumption of dialogue between Iran and the United States.
Meanwhile, Asim Munir said the Iran-Pakistan border crossings would officially reopen from Wednesday morning, October 21.
