Iran Air to resume Tehran–Kabul–Mashhad flights

KABUL: Iran Air has announced that it will resume flights on the Tehran–Kabul–Mashhad route on October 23.

Officials from the airline say rising fuel prices and other operating costs have increased financial pressure on airlines and created additional challenges for their operations.

Iran Air also says it is owed approximately $30 million by several foreign airlines. However, international sanctions and banking restrictions have made it difficult for the company to recover the outstanding payments.
