KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has said the United States may launch another military operation against Iran.
Al Jazeera reported Saturday morning that Trump made the remarks at an election rally in Florida.
Referring to the previous U.S. and Israeli military operation against Iran, which began on February 28, Trump said, “We may have another little epic fury.”
Trump urged Iranian officials to accept U.S. demands in order to end the conflict, saying that if they were “smart,” they would agree to Washington’s demands, although he expressed doubt that they would do so.
The remarks come after Trump had previously said that the United States would not launch another attack on Iran before the U.S. midterm elections.
