KABUL: Kuwait has pledged $2.5 million in multi-year funding to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund, the United Nations has announced.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said the contribution will support the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund and help sustain humanitarian activities for people in need across the country.
OCHA thanked Kuwait for its continued support, saying the country’s contributions to Afghanistan since 2024 have been valuable in maintaining humanitarian assistance.
