KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, said that the country is rich in natural resources and minerals and offers extensive opportunities for investment in the mining sector.
According to Omid Radio correspondent, Hanafi made the remarks at a special exhibition showcasing Afghanistan’s mining sector.
He said the exhibition aims to introduce the country’s natural resources, attract investment, promote professional mining practices, and create employment opportunities.
Hanafi also said facilities were being provided for domestic and foreign investors. He added that foreign investors could lease land and establish their own companies and factories in Afghanistan.
