KABUL: Russian President Vladimir Putin says Moscow is prepared for a potential war with Europe but does not want such a conflict, adding that Russia supports efforts to improve relations between Moscow and European countries.
Putin made the remarks after a meeting with leaders of African countries, warning that an escalation of tensions would benefit neither side.
The tensions between Russia and European countries have remained high for several years amid the war in Ukraine.
