KABUL: Mawlavi Mohammad Shafiq Khatib, Afghanistan’s acting ambassador to Kuwait, has met with Russian Ambassador Vladimir Zheltov to discuss expanding political and economic relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on Afghanistan’s security situation, recent developments, and efforts to combat narcotics.
They also emphasised supporting Afghanistan’s progress and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
