KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement on Sunday, welcomed the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov’s remarks about supporting durable and meaningful dialogues with the Islamic Emirate.
According to the statement, the Islamic Emirate has always emphasized comprehensive and result-oriented dialogues with all sides on common issues, the statement said.
The statement further said: “With the end of the occupation, the factors of insecurity have been eliminated and the ground for investment and implementation of mega projects has been provided in the country”.
This comes after the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, said: “In general, we advocate establishing a more stable, continuous and substantive dialogue, which is aimed at implementing real projects, with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.”
