DOHA: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said on Monday that a quadrilateral meeting between Afghan, Uzbek, Pakistani, and Qatari representatives was held in Doha.
In the meeting, the acceleration of work on the Afghan Trans project was discussed and all parties have requested for the quick completion of the project.
The Trans-Afghan railway project passes between three countries (Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan), starting from the Termez city of Uzbekistan and passing through Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Logar, and Paktia, and finally connecting to Pakistan.
Through this project, regional connectivity will be established and Central Asia will be connected with South Asia.
