KABUL: The United Nations reported on Wednesday that health centers in Lebanon are facing crisis due to the ongoing Israeli attacks and conflicts in the country.

According to the UN, 87 health workers have been killed in Lebanon as a result of the conflicts since October 7, 2023.

The UN noted that humanitarian needs in Lebanon have significantly increased, and the health systems are on the verge of collapse due to the ongoing violence.

Previously, UN Secretary-General António Guterres also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon during his remarks last night.
