KABUL: Nine people, including women and children, were martyred and 11 others wounded in overnight Pakistani airstrikes on parts of Afghanistan’s Kunar and Helmand provinces, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid spokesman of the Islamic arm said.
In a post on X, Mujahid said Pakistani aircraft targeted areas in Chogam, in Kunar’s Shultan district, and Safaar, in Helmand’s Garmser district.
He said three homes were also destroyed in the strikes.
Mujahid condemned the attacks, describing them as “aggression and a crime contrary to all accepted principles.”
