KABUL: The Director of the Qatari Red Crescent Society, Husain Younus, in a meeting with the acting head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, said that his country will construct 10 health facilities in the remote areas of Afghanistan, according to a statement from the ARCS on Saturday.
The construction work on the health facilities will be kicked off in the near future, said the statement.
Praising the Qatari continued support, Shaikh Delawar assured that his-led administration would cooperate in the construction of the health centers with the Qatari RCS.
He also asked for further assistance from the Qatar Red Crescent Society for needy families and in the digging of drinking water wells in the country.
