Japan provides $7 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

KABUL: The World Food Program (WFP) said on its X on Monday that Japan has provided $7 million to Afghanistan to combat hunger and malnutrition in the country.
The aid package will be used to support emergency food assistance, prevent malnutrition, and strengthen school feeding programs in Afghanistan, the statement said.
The program called Japan’s assistance important at a critical time and added that it would provide significant assistance to Afghanistan’s economy during the difficult winter months.
