Qatar’s humanitarian aids arrives Balkh for flood-affected families

KABUL: The 22-ton humanitarian aids shipment of the Qatar Arabic country  arrived in Balkh today.

The aid shipments were handed over by the Qatari officials to the Islamic Emirate officials at the Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi International Airport in Mazar-e-Sharif.

The aid includes food and non-food items, including medicine and tents.

Qatar’s representative, during the delivery of the aid, stated that his country is committed to providing humanitarian assistance to the flood victims in Afghanistan.

After the devastating and destructive floods in several provinces, especially Baghlan province, many countries and relief organizations have announced their assistance to the affected people of this natural disaster.

Previously, Mirwais Azizi, the owner of Azizi Bank, has also pledged 50 million Afghanis in aid to the flood victims in Baghlan.
