KABUL: During the ceremony marking the commencement of the 25th phase of exports, the official export of gas and trailers has begun from Herat province to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
According to a statement from the Herat Governor’s press office, during the program Herat Governor Shaikh Maulana Islam Jar praised the tankers and trailers made by local youth, emphasizing: “These exports not only benefit the balance of trade but also showcase the production capabilities of Afghanistan in the region.”
According to the statement, the “Ahan Buresh” company has exported around 100 trailers, with 70% of them being locally produced, and currently, 6 trailers are directly headed to Russia.
It is noted that the total value of the company’s exports is approximately $4 million, providing direct and indirect employment opportunities for 265 individuals.
