KABUL: A 30-member delegation of Afghan traders and private-sector representatives, led by Kamaluddin Tawhid, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, has traveled to Tehran to attend the International Construction Industry Exhibition.
The Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce said Afghan traders will meet with Iranian businessmen, investors and economic stakeholders on the sidelines of the exhibition to discuss trade and investment opportunities and joint economic cooperation.
The visit aims to strengthen ties between the private sectors of the two countries, identify new investment opportunities and create new avenues for expanding economic cooperation and joint business activities.
