KABUL: Islamic Emirate spokesperson Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid has said Afghanistan wants to move beyond the policies of the war era and establish friendly relations with the United States.
Speaking to an Indian media outlet, Mujahid said Afghanistan seeks normal and constructive relations with Washington.
He added that the Islamic Emirate wants the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and Afghanistan’s diplomatic mission in Washington to resume operations, saying this would help restore normal diplomatic relations between the two countries.
