KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, says Afghan defense and security forces conducted 602 operations across the country over the past year.
Radio Omid, citing Mujahid, reported that the operations led to the identification and destruction of complex plans, hideouts and dangerous networks belonging to opponents.
Mujahid also said 20,751 members of the Afghan Islamic Army were recruited into training centers over the past year, while another 19,753 personnel graduated from military training programs.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has prepared three camps for returning migrants, with a clinic established near each camp. Thousands of families have received food and non-food assistance, as well as millions of Afghanis in cash aid. Thousands of families have also been transported to the camps and from the camps to their respective provinces, with the process continuing.
Mujahid made the remarks during the “Government in the Mirror of the Press” program held at the Government Media and Information Center.
