KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Yemen’s Houthi movement that continued attacks against Saudi Arabia will not go unanswered.
Trump claimed that the Houthis may have continued their attacks at Iran’s request, seeking to drive up global oil prices.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said the United States had carried out heavy airstrikes against the Houthis last year in response to similar actions.
He added that the U.S. later halted its military operations at the Houthis’ request.
