KABUL: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will begin a five-day visit to India and Uzbekistan on Saturday, the U.S. State Department has announced.
According to Reuters, Rubio will meet with Indian officials to discuss regional and global developments and ways to expand energy cooperation.
In Uzbekistan, the U.S. Secretary of State is scheduled to meet with officials from the host country, as well as representatives from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
A delegation of more than 200 business leaders is also expected to accompany Rubio on the trip.
