KABUL: A water supply network worth 5.8 million Afghanis has been inaugurated in the country’s northeastern province of Kunar, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
The water supply networks with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) have been built in Hazar Mir village, Nurgul district, Kunar province, according to the statement.
With the completion of the projects, safe drinking water was provided to around 170 families.
Efforts are underway to provide safe drinking water to the country’s citizens.
