Ministry of Refugees signs MoU with Concern Institute

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees said today that a Memorandum of Understanding worth $200,000 has been signed between officials of the ministry and Concern Institute authorities.

In a ceremony held on the occasion the MoU was signed by the Technical Deputy Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Mawlavi Abdul Rahman Rashid and a representative of Concern Institute, said the ministry in a statement.

According to the Ministry, based on the Memorandum of Understanding, the aforementioned institute is obligated to distribute the mentioned amount as cash assistance to Afghan returnees in the country.

The beneficiaries of the cash assistance are 1,100 families in Takhar and Kunduz provinces.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Refugees has recently signed Memorandums of Understanding worth more than $2 million with several non-governmental organizations.
