Despite Beijing’s opposition; Washington gives Taiwan fighter jets

KABUL: The United States is giving F-16 fighter jets and radar systems worth $320 million to Taiwan.

The military equipment includes F-16 aircraft parts, advanced electronic sensors, radars, and other items.

It is said that the delivery of this equipment will start in 2025.

Washington provides this military assistance to Taiwan, while Beijing considers Taiwan a part of its territory and opposes any international support to this country.
