KABUL: After the implementation of a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime, tens of thousands of residents of the Gaza Strip have returned to their homes, in the past over one week.
According to the Associated Press on Monday night, the number of war refugees moving from the northern to the southern parts of Gaza has reached tens of thousands, many of whom have lost everything during the Zionist Israel’s attacks and are now amidst the ruins.
Videos went viral on media showing long lines of people, including children, teenagers, and young adults, walking back to their residence areas.
The report also notes that the return of tens of thousands of Palestinians among the rubble has increased the risk of numerous diseases, especially, while hospitals have lost their ability to provide medical services.
Officials from the World Health Organization have reported that two-thirds of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip are currently non-operational.
