Zionist Israeli forces activities worsened humanitarian situation in Rafah, Guterres

KABUL: The Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres, said in a statement on his X account Tuesday night that the Israeli regime’s military activities in Rafah city have further exacerbated the humanitarian situation.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations stressed that in many cases, Israeli military activities in Rafah have hindered access to humanitarian assistance.

“I reiterate my appeal for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and for the release of all hostages. I call for the Rafah crossing to be re-opened immediately and for the unimpeded humanitarian access throughout Gaza,” he said.

Two days ago, António Guterres posted a photo of a UN vehicle, stating that an attack by the Israeli regime on a vehicle carrying UN staff in Gaza resulted in one death and two injuries.

The Zionist Israeli regime’s attacks continue on Rafah city, where over 1.4 million Palestinian citizens have sought refuge.

These attacks have faced criticism from the international community, including supporters of the Israeli regime.
