KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said that two check dams worth 13 million Afghanis (some 182,650 US Dollars) have been inaugurated in Farah province.
The check dams have been built in the Aqtina village, Parchman district, and Takjer village, Bakwah district of the province, said the statement.
With the completion of the check dams, the ground has been paid for the restoration of 33,000 cubic meters of water, said the statement adding that dozens of people were provided with job opportunities.
