Education Minister laid foundation stones of 17 schools in Paktika

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Education Mawlavi Habibullah Agha, during his visit to Paktika, laid the foundation stones of 17 schools in the province,  the ministry said in a statement.

Speaking in the ceremony the Education Minister said: “A lot of efforts have been made so far to develop services and improve the quality of education in both religious and modern science, but it is not enough”.

He also referred to the increase in teachers’ salaries in the country and said that the issue has been shared with the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, said the statement.

According to the statement, a number of teachers and elders of Paktika province have appreciated the attention of the Ministry of Education and the commencement of school construction in the province.

The Ministry did not provide information, whether the schools build with their  own budget or partner institutions.
