KABUL: Typhoons and heavy rains in the north of Vietnam have killed 59 people and injured hundreds of others, media reported.
The Vietnamese media quoting authorities reported that the incident took place as a result of heavy rains and typhoons in the north of the country.
At the same time, Al Jazeera reported that there are newborn children among the dead. The typhoon has also cut off electricity for about 3 million people.
The officials of Vietnam called this typhoon unprecedented in the past decade.
