KANDAHAR: A large fresh milk processing center, in coordination with the provincial Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Department has been opened in Khushhab village of Daman district, Kandahar province.
According to the provincial officials, this milk processing plant [Milco Company] has been built with the cost of 100,000 U.S. dollars.
The center will have the capacity to produce 10,000 kg of milk in 24 hours and will buy fresh cow milk from 700 families in the area.
