Afghan, Iranian diplomats emphasize accelerating diplomatic cooperation

KABUL: The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tehran has announced that Afghan and Iranian diplomats have stressed the importance of speeding up bilateral diplomatic cooperation.
According to a statement from the IEA embassy in Tehran on Sunday, Mawlavi Fazl Mohammad Haqqani, the acting ambassador of the IEA in Iran, met with Mohammad Reza Bahrami, the Director General for South Asia at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the latest developments in bilateral relations, issues concerning Afghan migrants, and the expansion of economic and diplomatic ties between Kabul and Tehran.
Both parties emphasized that to achieve progress in these areas, the level of cooperation must be increased.
This comes at a time when diplomatic, economic, and trade relations between Afghanistan and Iran have significantly strengthened over the past three years.
