Trump announces $8 billion deal between Uzbekistan and Boeing firm

KABUL: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced that Uzbekistan is purchasing 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from Boeing.

In a post on his account, Trump congratulated Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on signing this large contract, describing it as a major achievement.

He stated that the deal is expected to create 35,000 new jobs in the United States.

Trump remarked, “President Mirziyoyev is a man of his word, and we will continue to collaborate on many other matters.”

He added that he had discussed this contract with President Mirziyoyev earlier this month (September).

Since Trump’s return to the White House earlier this year, American aerospace companies, including Boeing, have secured contracts worth hundreds of billions of dollars, including with Arab countries.
