KABUL: The United Nations has announced that “Jesse Watters,” a host from the American Fox News network, has apologized for remarks suggesting a call for bombings related to the organization.
According to reports, Watters made these comments during Donald Trump’s entrance to the UN General Assembly, amid technical difficulties with the electronic escalator and teleprompter.
A UN spokesperson described Watters’ statements as “irresponsible” and confirmed that he has apologized to the organization privately for his remarks.
