KABUL: The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned recent statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump in the parliament of the Israeli regime.
According to a statement from the ministry on Tuesday, during his speech in the Israeli parliament, Trump stated that the agreement between Hamas and Israel was made possible by eliminating the “black cloud (Iran’s nuclear program).”
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the U.S. is the largest generator of “terrorism” and lacks the moral authority to accuse others.
In part of the statement, it mentioned: “The repetition of false claims regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program cannot justify the joint crimes of the U.S. and the Zionist regime in violating the sacred territory of Iran and assassinating the valiant children of the Iranian land.”
The ministry further asserted that the U.S.’s interventionist policies in the region, support for the Israeli regime’s occupation, and unlimited arms sales have made it the biggest factor of “instability and insecurity” in the region.
It is noteworthy that relations between Tehran and Washington have significantly deteriorated with Donald Trump’s return to power in the U.S.
