92-year-old Paul wins Presidential Elections in Cameroon for eighth time

KABUL: In Cameroon, 92-year-old President Paul has won the presidential elections for the eighth time.

According to the official results released by the electoral commission, Paul secured 53% of the votes, while his opponent received 35%.

Following the announcement of the president’s re-election, clashes erupted between his supporters and opponents.

Local authorities reported that at least four people have been killed during these protests.
